MICRO
METER, MAXI METER, ROTOR METER AND TURBO JET All have variable
speed feed rollers driven by 12 volt electric motors. Choose from 2 control
systems - non speed related, or radar based automatic speed related output.
Non Speed Related. Vari Speed
A simple in-cab dial sets the speed of the feed motor and thus the seeding
rate, and provides on the move manual adjustment. The operator drives
a constant speed to maintain the rate.
Controls with Radar Speed Sensing
Two systems are used and both automatically maintain the seed rate as
forward speed varies up or down.
1.
ESC (Electronic Speed Control) Micro
Meter, Maxi Meter, Rotor Meter The
control console compares the feed motor speed provided by an encoder with
the actual forward speed provided by the radar, and adjusts the feed motor
in proportion with forward speed changes.
FEATURES
Audio
visual malfunction alarm for the feed motor
A
further option of a low level hopper sensor, also alarmed
On
the move seed rate adjustment 10% up or down from target rate
2.
RDS Wizard Turbo
Jet only A
radar sensor provides a forward speed signal to the Wizard instrument.
The Wizard then controls and maintains the feed motor speed in proportion
to forward speed, all based upon the programmed application rate and the
product calibration factor.
FEATURES
Audio
visual malfunction alarms of feed motor, fans and the
lower level hopper sensor. (standard fitment)
