Both the Micro Meter and Maxi Meter are modular 1m applicators which come as standard with 6 metered outlets, both machines can be used to apply product by gravity up to a working width of 1.5m.
A second Maxi Meter “Add-on unit” can drive and be controlled by the first one. Similarly, up to two “Add-on units” can be run from one Micro Meter base unit. The Combi-Drive Micro Meter configuration allows a second unit to be added “back-to-back” to drive and control the first unit.
The Micro Meter is a modular machine, built up in one meter lengths as required, it uses a simple, reliable, low cost gravity feed metering system.
Micro Meters are typically used to accurately meter and distribute small seeds and micro granules and are available with Vari-Speed, Jackal or i-CON control systems. A “high rate” version is also available for metering grass mixtures and other larger volume product.
KEY FEATURES
- 1m modular sections, 60 litre hopper
- Max 3 sections mounted in line (Jackal & i-CON)
- 6 gravity fed outlets per unit
- Band seeding working width up to 1.5m per unit
- Spreader cones available, total ground coverage of 1.5m per 1m section
- Can be specified with small or high rate fluted feed rollers
MICRO & MAXI METER CONTROLS
TWO CONTROL OPTIONS
VARI-SPEED CONTROL

Vari-Speed provides effective, low-cost, manually operated
electric control. A dial control sets the feed motor speed and
thus the application rate and this motor can be instantly started or stopped at headlands.
Vari-Speed is not linked to forward speed so once calibrated the operator drives at a consistent forward speed to maintain the rate, or can manually increase or decrease application rates on the move using the dial.
- Left hand switch - feed motor on/off
- Centre switch - metering roller high/low speed
- Right hand dial - Metering roller speed control
JACKAL CONTROL

The JACKAL is a simple compact controller which enables
monitoring and adjustment of all key functions.
The screen shows application rate, forward speed, hopper
level alarm and fan voltage. As standard the forward speed
input is taken from the tractor 7 pin implement socket.
The JACKAL can be fitted with a GPS speed input and in/ out of work cut-off switch if required. Uses the tractor 7 pin plug
for forward speed signal and on/off linkage function.
- Large LCD screen and robust water resistant housing
- Quick easy set-up
- Simple accurate calibration for precise rate control
- Forward speed related rate control as standard with on the move adjustment
- High and low alarms for metering roller
- Multiple trip counters and live data scrolling
i-CON CONTROL

Rates are automatically controlled in proportion to forward
speed for ultimate accuracy, and the machine can apply
variable rates according to mapping data using a GPS
based touch screen*.

GPS sensor, hopper level sensor and on/ off finger switch supplied as standard.
- 4.3” colour touch screen with 4 basic menu keys
- Seed application rate kg/ha or seeds/m²
- Min/max forward speed (km/h) indicator with alarms
- Metering unit status (on/off) and alarm
- Hopper contents (kg) and low level alarm
- Part, full job and grand totals for area (ha), product dispensed (kg) and hours worked
- ISOBUS compatibility kit available
ADDITIONAL HOPPERS
Up to two additional “Add-on units” can be connected to the main Micro Meter when using the Jackal or i-CON controller. (One additional unit can be added when using Vari-Speed). The Add-on units are connected using drive shafts (max 60cm) and each hopper has its own adjuster.

6 OUTLETS
Each hopper has six outlets. However blanking plates can be used to reduce the number of outlets.

METERING
A precision moulded plastic fluted feed roller is driven by a stainless-steel feed shaft.

The feed rollers slide through their housings, to provide stepless rate adjustment, by opening or closing the feed aperture using a simple rotary wheel to increase or decrease the feed shaft speed. Either small or large fluted feed rollers can be supplied with the Micro Meter.
SPREADER KIT

Each 1m hopper is supplied with a spreader kit consisting of six inverted nylon cones attached to steel channel section.
The steel channel section can be joined to the adjacent section if more than one Micro Meter is used. The outlet spreaders slide along the steel channel and are locked in place at the required spacings.
FITTING TO THE IMPLEMENT

The hoppers should be mounted high enough to ensure product can be gravity fed down the delivery hose.
The chassis bolts together to form a rigid structure. Spare holes have been drilled to facilitate fitting to the parent vehicle with a suitably supplied bracket.

MAXI METER

The Maxi Meter is a larger capacity version of the Micro Meter, designed for large seeds and prilled fertilisers and is available with Vari-Speed, Jackal or i-CON control systems.
Aimed at higher application rates it has similar 1m modular sections but a 165 litre stainless steel hopper which is resistant to corrosive granules and fertiliser.
KEY FEATURES
- 1m modular sections
- 165 litre stainless hopper
- Larger metering unit than Micro Meter
- 6 outlet per unit, total ground cover up to 1.5m per section (when fitted with optional spreader plates)
- Max 2 units mounted in line (3m working width)
MICRO METER COMBI-DRIVE

The Combi-Drive uses a Micro Meter base unit with an add-on Micro Meter unit mounted back-to-back to apply two different products at the same time. The need for only one drive unit reduces cost of the second unit.
The Micro Meter units need to be mounted back-to-back so that product in both gravity fed pipes have a straight fall onto the same row of crop. Typically, this would work with OSR and slug pellets or OSR and micro fertiliser mouted to a small cultivator.
KEY FEATURES
- 2 x 60 litre hoppers per 1m section
- Ability to apply 2 different products
- Gravity fed up to 12 outlets per 1.5m
- Spreader cones available
- Optional, GPS speed variable rate control

BUILT IN THE UK
Wisbech is still the home of Stocks Ag. All applicators are fabricated, assembled and painted in the Cambridgeshire factory. Precision assembly and quality control are paramount to the production process.
The R & D team work with both the factory and farmers to deliver a seeding solution that is fit for current farming practices.
