EXTRA WIDE WHEELS
Stocks offer wheels of any width to take wide tyres. Traditionally, used for flotation tyres and top work such as drilling, rolling and fertiliser spreading, but with tyre technology improving rapidly, wide section tyres are becoming far more commonplace on high and low horsepower tractors. Extra wide wheels are frequently used to relieve ground pressure due to the increased tyre footprint.
Wide wheels normally have fixed centres but if they are required to fit different tractors bolt-in hub adaptors can be considered for more versatility.
For agricultural tyres the rim is normally a one piece rim.However, some tyres require a 3 or 5 piece lock-ring rim to mount the tyre.
COMPACT TRACTOR WHEELS
Compact tractors wheels used in the amenity, agricultural or industrial sectors can be supplied as bare wheels or ready fitted with tyres. Suitable for turf, agricultural or industrial use and with tyre patterns of your choice.
BOLT-IN HUB ADAPTERS
Usually applicable to fixed centre wheels. If the same wheel is to be used on different tractors with different hubs (8/10/12 stud), Stocks offer bolt-in hub adaptors to allow wheels to be utilised better on many different vehicles. It is also possible to have bolt-in adaptors to adjust the track setting from one tractor to another when the axles are different lengths.
LOADER SHOVEL WHEELS
Stocks offer wheels to fit loaders of all types used in agricultural, construction and forestry applications.
These are fixed centre wheels, typically with 15-25mm thick reinforced centre discs, built to cope with extreme loads that large loaders and shovels can exert when fitted with large grabs, buckets and rakes.
These wheels are available with reinforced rim edges (often specified for forestry or silage clamp use) to just the outside edge, or both inner and outer rim edges, and a variety of valve guards.
SPECIAL BUILD WHEELS
Stocks have vast stock of rims and centres providing the ability to build a wheel quickly and cost effectively. Non-standard specifications can usually be catered for.
REINFORCED RIMS & CENTRE DISCS
Rim edges can be reinforced with a continuously double welded, solid steel bar for forestry or silage clamp work. Valve guards of different designs can be specified. Centre discs of all types can be reinforced around the hub area if required (up to 50mm reinforcement).
SPECIALIST DUAL WHEELS
Stocks have adapted standard dual wheels for smaller diameter wheels, up to 20", on compact tractors - these are known as Keyhole Duals.
A bolt-in power-rail and spacer-band adapter kit enables a fixed or adjustable centre wheel to be converted to a duals wheel set-up.
BOLT-ON 'KEYHOLE' SMALL DIAMETER DUAL WHEELS
Suitable for machines with up to 20” wheels, i.e. for very small diameter wheels not able to utilise our standard clamping arrangement, we offer bolt-on duals, using conventional spacer bands to locate them.
Eye nuts are attached to the tractor wheel as normal, and a standard hook is placed through a lug or flange (depending on the wheel size). The lug or flange is welded to the dual wheel and tensioned using a nut and spanner. Once attached these duals are as strong as our standard clamp type dual wheels.
BOLT-IN POWER RAIL
Stocks design and manufacture a bolt-in power rail and spacer band assembly which enables an adjustable wheel to be used as a dual wheel.
When in use as a dual wheel the centre disc of the adjustable wheel is replaced with a bolt-in power rail/spacer. Once removed, the adjustable wheel reverts back to its original use.
BOLT-IN ADAPTOR FOR JOHN DEERE CAST CENTRE WHEELS
Designed to fit to the original John Deere 814 PCD flange wheel that normally bolts to the John Deere cast centre, this adaptor converts spare John Deere wheels into duals.
VALVE GUARDS
On forestry and other specific wheels, Stocks can fit a variety of valve guards for optimum valve protection.
PAINT
All wheels are colour matched if requested and any paint type can be specified.
