OVERVIEW
Stocks dual wheels have a worldwide reputation for strength and durability.
An original ground-breaking design, Stocks' patented dual wheel over-centre clamp and power rail has stood the test of time and has evolved over the decades in response to tractor HP and tyre developments.
By sharing the load between two tyres, rather than one, dual wheels decrease pressure on the ground and increase grip resulting in lower compaction, reduced fuel usage and higher crop yields. Whilst most commonly used on tractors, duals also provide wheel solutions for combines, drills and cultivators.
Standard duals are suitable for tractors of any HP and are commonly used on tractors when cultivating, drilling or buckraking silage
Straddle-row duals, with inter-row capabilities and stability at heart, are increasing in popularity with more farmers moving to precision farming.
Step-down duals are the ideal solution if you are constricted by overall width but require dual wheels.
Keyhole duals are for smaller diameter wheels on compact tractors. Stocks also offer bolt-in power rails, enabling adjustable wheels to be used as dual wheels.
STOCKS CLAMPS
Stocks' innovative dual wheels feature heavy-duty clamps, hooks, eye nuts and eye bolts. Most clamp components are made from heat-treated, high tensile, drop-forged steel.
The over-centre, low-maintenance design of the clamp means easy fitting to fixed centre wheels. Hooks and eye nuts are evenly distributed around the rim of the wheel ensuring a concentric fit and no loss of strength. Duals are then clamped to the power-rail that runs around the inside of the dual wheel, giving easy access.
A unique removable spacer allows the clamps to work correctly when eye nuts are fitted to wheel weight holes or attached to wheel rim bolts.
BUILT IN THE UK
Wisbech is still the home of Stocks Ag. All applicators are fabricated, assembled and painted in the Cambridgeshire factory. Precision assembly and quality control are paramount to the production process.
The R & D team work with both the factory and farmers to deliver a seeding solution that is fit for current farming practices.
